The crown jewel, however, is Lincoln Park – the neighborhood’s namesake – a 1,200-acre park of gentle green that offers a respite from city life year-round. The park also includes a lakefront walk, golf, harbor, and bird sanctuary. During summer, Lincoln Park really comes to life as people from throughout the city visit the beach, job along the waterfront, and enjoy the many street festivals as well as visit the terrific Lincoln Park Zoo.
